It is now 15 years since the Palau de la Música Catalana introduced its Cycle of Family Concerts at the Palau, an initiative whose goal is to kindle the passion for and appreciation of music to the youngest members of the household. These are shows conceived and created so that music interacts with other forms of artistic expression such as dance, theater, poetry or the plastic arts, aimed at encouraging the curiosity, imagination and creativity of young and old alike.
As it does every season, L'Auditori is offering a special program for families with children of all ages, so that young and old alike can enter the wonderful world of live music. A wide range of concerts, created for children and designed to make their first musical experience unique and special.
The Petit Liceu is an initiative of the Gran Teatre del Liceu to bring music to the youngest members of the family. A program that features all-time classics, adapted for the whole family to enjoy. Some performances of the shows Miralls, Trencanous-Jazz, La cuina de Rossini and La nit de Sant Joan offer pre-show and participatory workshops for families with tickets for the show.
Created in 2003, Loop is a platform that focuses on the possibilities and challenges presented by video art, one of the key artistic movements of modern times. Each year, Loop hosts professionals and the public for a gathering where they can explore the latest technological and other developments in the moving image sector and see the work of new and established creatives who use video as their main tool.
Loop Festival runs for around 10 days and includes screenings, exhibitions, concerts, talks and other live events at numerous venues around the city.
